Our Approach to Injuries and Pain
Our main aim with any injury is to create lasting effects and not let it become a chronic issue or a reoccurring injury due to residual weakness. We treat a variety of physical presentations from daily life aches and pains to serious injuries caused by trauma or sporting injuries.
What to Expect
The Physical assessment would include a subjective assessment which will ask you about the history and nature of your problem and then a physical examination which varies depending on the severity of the condition. After identifying the primary cause, we also look at contributing factors that could have affected the situation.
We talk through our findings in an understandable way for you and give advice and discuss an appropriate treatment plan.
We start treatment and give a home exercise programme to compliment the hands-on therapy. At the end of the treatment block we give you a plan to prevent that problem reoccurring.
